Arun was born in India, where he earned a PhD in Microbiology and spent more than two decades teaching and conducting research in India, the UK, Germany, Australia, and the USA between 1964 and 1984. A published scholar, he is the author of several books in Biology. In 1985, he transitioned into finance and began providing trusted financial strategies and services to clients in Atlanta. His work includes insurance, real estate, mortgages, tax-planning and investments. Arun is fluent in English, German, and Hindi.
Arun lives in Johns Creek, about 30 miles north of Atlanta. He is active in several civic clubs, religious organizations, as well as in philanthropic, and political activities in his community. He enjoys badminton, tennis, pickleball, and golf. His wife of more than 57 years, Jayasri Tripathi, passed away in November 2021. Arun and Jayasri have three children and six grandchildren, all living in California.
